Pat Nielsen

Pat brings over 20 years of experience in supervision and the administration of Worker’s Compensation claims to the WRA.  His experience ranges from working as a paralegal for a Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury law firm to a Claims Unit Supervisor for a national third party administrator specializing in Worker’s Compensation law for both State Fund and Self Insured employers.  He has brought a broad based knowledge and application of the law to the WRA that is an asset to keeping cost exposure to our members at a minimum.

 

Pat supervises our Worker’s Compensation division and oversees claims management operations.  He is the underwriter for new enrollees to assure they meet WRA eligibility requirements prior to joining our Retro risk pool. Pat also represents our members on all high level appeals before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals.  His work includes providing accurate reports and analyses that are a key service to help members reach top performance standards in our Retro program.    

 

Pat’s passion is for team building at all levels.  His firm belief that customer service is an association’s most valuable asset ensures the highest level of attention is taken toward meeting members needs.  His focus on customer service, retention, and program growth insulate the pool from risk, provides strong refunds to Retro members, and helps keep individual company rates as low as possible

 

Pat offers private consultations to our new and existing Retro members.  His analysis of claims, account activity and overall performance provides members a positive approach toward becoming top performers in our Retro program.  He will show how Retro works to refund their premiums, lower their premium rates and what they need to do to be a top performer.
